Okay, so the 2008 wedding trend is going two ways: extremely frugal and extremely expensive.

If you are conserving cash flow and looking to save somewhere in your budget, doing some of your own beauty routine is a savings cow. Consider getting your bridal party together and having a "do it yourself" pedi party! Or there are several mobile beauty choices that can come to your house and still be affordable.

It is completely possible to do your own makeup for the day of the wedding and still look gorgeous. Check out my book on learning professional technique for the big day, or come by a Bridal Makeup 101 workshop this week. Wednesday morning has some spaces, and if there is enough interest, I'll open up a Saturday morning also. Just email me.

Enjoy the beauty tips and see you soon at a workshop for your bridal party, teens fall trend or resume ready face!
