I'm home from Memphis. As much as I like traveling, I love coming home!
Especially when I come home to a lovely blog sample of chocolat from La Maison du Chocolat!
It arrived perfectly in time for the National Chocolate Day in the United States.
Oh wait, all is good until I open it and the Arizona heat has melted the wee bits of Heaven into one big chocolat puddle in the box. Darn it!
Ok. Time to improvise. I put it in the refrigerator and let it cool for an hour and then opened the box of chocolat back up to a solid bar of something. Something delicious that is!
So I'm not quite sure what was in that box, but it was delicious.

- Plain dark chocolate truffle: full-bodied, intense and bittersweet
- Raspberry truffle: dark chocolate ganache with fresh raspberry pulp
- Orange truffle: dark chocolate ganache with orange and a dash of fresh zest
- Caramel truffle: milk chocolate ganache, infusion of Bourbon Vanilla, and a pinch of salt
We recommend to taste our truffles in the following order:
- Plain truffle
- Caramel truffle
- Orange truffle
- Raspberry truffle
