Thanksgiving travel: how to get packed fast for lots of looks from Mary Kay

 Hi ya Gorgeous!
Are you on the road yet? Have you headed out to the airport or train station?
If you are like me and getting ready to drive to a gig I get to be a part of over the Thanksgiving weekend-here is a little glimpse into what I am packing for the road trip!

Inside this SoHo bag for Thanksgiving travel beauty is...

I've got one wee bag to take the makeup I need to travel, make it to the gig, make it to the dinner, make it out to a movie premiere, and then make it out to see a concert, all while making it to the event during the day.

Special thanks to Mary Kay for sharing some samples for the Thanksgiving road trip!
I've got the Mary Kay Nourishine Lip Gloss in Sun Blossoms which can be worn alone in the day time for a natural look and then I'm going to add a dark burgundy liner at night and blend it in for a more dramatic lip!

Next I have the Mary Kay compact mini with a bronzer blush called Sparkling cider and two eye shadow colors that again, can take me from day to night. (Top swatch of color is Silver Satin and bottom is Granite)

The bronzer blush can be used to contour as well as add a pop of color to my cheeks and the eye colors I'm going to wear as a solid lid color and contour and then thick liquid liner for night time. Lashes. Of course!

I always bring fragrance and I am bringing this roller ball because it can easily go from my work purse to my night clutch. This is the Mary Kay Winter Wishes eau de toilette rollerball. It's fruity, like me!

Now the other items you see that are going in the bag are: a mini Mary Kay Lash Love mascara, a Mary Kay mineral foundation stipple brush, some LA Looks extreme Sport gel to set my hair in rollers with over night and then have the curl last all day long-from work to play! I've got a travel size of Soft&Dri deoderant to help keep the Arizona heat at bay. We are having record temps over the Thanksgiving -that would be record highs.

So you know my secret to a quick fancy look is to add lashes, so I've got a couple of sets of Ardell Demi Wispies ready. I'm packing old school pink sponge rollers to set my hair in a vintage Lauren Bacall style wave that will go from day to night.

Funny, for having a holiday weekend-it's packed. No rest for me for the next week!

I'm so thankful for the opportunities that have come my way! I will share more details soon!
