Throwback Thursday: Mancub's birthday, Josie Maran, National Women's Equality Day

Oh happy day!
There are many things going on today!

It is National Women's Equality Day! It's Throwback Thursday! It's review Josie Maran cosmetics day! Though most importantly, it's my Mancub's birthday!

At the Queen Mary for his first visit. 2 years old and ready to rock Ink N Iron!

This lil guy is now 10 years old. Officially a double digit. Oh my goodness, where does the time go! I feel silly saying it, though it is true. The time goes by so fast!

He still has those bright blue eyes  and beautiful smile, just now it's a little bit older!

At the time, the 2 year old phase was really difficult! Oh if only to go back  and have those days again!

Alas we can only go forward. He has seen so much and  done a lot for his ten years. We are blessed with great friends and family and get to travel to many different places. Cheers to you my Mancub and more adventures!

Now, it wouldn't be a Makeup University blog post without a beauty product or review of some kind!

Say hello to luxury with a conscience cosmetics from Josie Maran. I love these products!
They are beautiful, effective, healthy and have a small footprint in the world of cosmetic production.
The brand is a champion of sustainability and recycling with reducing carbon footprint. Goodstuff!

This is the Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Wand. It's super creamy, blends well, wears nice on clean skin or over liquid foundation. The stick can be applied directly to skin, or use a foundation brush to apply. I popped this pretty color on eyelids, cheek bones, center of lower lip and collarbone area. Versatile!

Oh sweet yummy! The Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Everlasting Honey. This pigmented oil has a hint of an herbal scent and taste.  It is very subtle. The color is gorgeous and tint wears for several hours.  I like the look of it as a lip color and as a cheek color.

This fun little bottle is a Josie Maran Coconut  Watercolor eyeshadow. Simply shake the jar to mix and  apply with the wand or a small synthetic brush.
The color is bronzey and gorgeous and can be used all over the face in my opinion. I tested it on my eyes, cheeks and lips. Love it! The wear is subtle, buildable and did not crease on my eyelids.

Oh what fun these products are because you can feel good about the healthy ingredients that are used in making them. All of the products are in the $20 range, some a little less, some a little more.
