BEARLY film teaser trailer inside

 Hi ya Gorgeous,

Quick update on blog things and film making and going  forward with good intentions!

Makeup University has been around for seventeen years - whoa -17 years and that's jsut a portion of my makeup  artistry work.  All  ofhat makeup doing business startedvia a sideways connection from my film making.

See, I started makeup sideways on a film set where I was working on the crew in a different capacity and one thing led to another and the next thing you  know I was doing makeup full time and had more gigs paying the bills versus directing film and video gigs. Phew.

So I stuck with it. That is until my wee cub, the love of my life said he had no desire in taking over the makeup business  but really loved video making, story telling and content creation.  Sigh.

So I dusted off some old scripts I had and moved forward  in their production.  I have Jael A Western Tale, Nascar Nights, BEARLY and ZBoy all in various stages of production .

Which brings me to BEARLY - which just had it's teaser trailer drop, you can  see that below. Enjoy and stay tuned for more makeup mixed with film posts!

It's the last day to get your BEARLY tshirt/tank!  Remember to look on the BACK!

Meet L'Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep Acting Facial Moisturizer

Hi ya Gorgeous!
Happy Monday. Whoa. Do I ever love a Monday. You know, I get more accomplished on a Monday than I do all week! Or at least that is what it  feels like!

Today is no different - I have already got massive action taken on many things and goals and even got the wheels turning on a return to the Monday blog and video posts for Makeup University.

In case you didn't know, I have been in Tucson for the past three weeks while my son attended the University of Arizona for tech camp and I completed production on BEARLY film.

Phew!

So in this blog post and video - meet the moisturizer known as
L'Oreal Revitalift  Triple Power Deep-Acting Facial Moisturizer!

This is a free sample from Influenster and  I arrived home to it. Oh if only I had this in Tucson with me! It was so hot and dry there my skin became dryer and itchy!

In my #RevitaliftChallenge - I'm using the sample twice a day for 14 days with photos along the journey to track the results. So far I'm loving it!  This product does have a  heavy perfume scent - I can smell my face for about an  hour after applying. The scent does not bother me though if you are sensitive to smells, this could  be an issue for you.

You can find L'Oreal Revitalift and  other goodies at mass retailers nationwide OR - be cool and stay home and just have it auto-delivered by Amazon!

What To Take On Summer Road Trip

Hi ya Gorgeous,
I've been on an extended travel for work, life and my cub going to U of A. As we have been in the RV and at a very public RV park, I have found a need for constantly having a disinfectant wipe on  hand as well as hand sanitizer.

Whether I am walking the dog to poop at the public dog park, or at the swiming pool, or touching anything anywhere around here at the very beautiful Tucson Lazydays campground based on my own need for keeping germs at bay!

In my experience, the EO organic deodorant wipe with tea tree did nothing against the 118 degree heat here in Tucson. I think in 68 degree weather this would be fabulous and healthy!

I absolutely LOVE the EO natural hand sanitizer and every one in the family from the youngest to the oldest are using and enjoying.

If you want a solution to products that do not contain triclosan, then look here, www.eoproducts.com and get some for your upcoming summer road trips!

Bullhead City Native Protects Middle East Skies over Bahrain

 Hi ya Gorgeous,
Today's post is near and dear to my heart. Myself and my family are huge supporters of the United States Military and many of our family members have served in the Navy, as well as Army, Air Force and Marines.

Petty Officer First Class Kimberly Kustesky

It's with great joy that I repost this story from Lt. Philip Fortnam about a beautiful young lady from my home area in Arizona.  Meet Petty Officer First Class Kimberly Kustesky.  She is hard at work for the United States and deserves this recognition. Please enjoy the story and share it forward while keeping her in your prayers!

Bullhead City Native Protects Middle East Skies over Bahrain

By Lt. Philip Fortnam, Navy Office of Community Outreach

U.S. 5th FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS – A 1998 Mohave High School graduate and Bullhead City, Arizona native is a part of a Navy team tasked to protect the skies over the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.

Petty Officer First Class Kimberly Kustesky is a master-at-arms, which involves enforcing the rules and regulations on the base to maintain good order and discipline. We provide security, anti terrorism and force protection, according to Kustesky.

“I work in training and I enjoy teaching a new concept to my Sailors,” said Kustesky. “I love the expression on their faces when they get it.”

Within this undisclosed location in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations, Sailors from all over the United States come together to form one unit, providing unparalleled support to multiservice personnel within the area of operations. These Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen and Marines work together to deter and counter disruptive countries, defeat violent extremism and strengthen security and stability throughout the region.

She is one of thousands of Sailors forward deployed to the Middle East in the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet.

The Navy’s 5th Fleet’s area of operation encompasses about 2.5 million square miles of water area and includes the Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Red Sea and parts of the Indian Ocean. The expanse comprises 20 countries, including three critical choke points at the Strait of Hormuz, the Suez Canal and the Strait of Bab al Mandeb at the southern tip of Yemen.

Kustesky is receiving firsthand experience working in a foreign country alongside coalition-focused forces who are executing the full spectrum of maritime operations with foreign counterparts, to keep the world safe from hostile forces.

“This command is a multi-national, multi-service environment. Working with the other services and the host nation is really interesting, seeing how they’re similar and how they’re not,” said Kustesky.

Kustesky realizes the significance of serving her country abroad and is proud of the work she is doing in the Middle East, helping protect America halfway around the world.

“The Navy is family. That means wherever I go in the country or the world I have friends and acquaintances. That's very different from the civilian world,” said Kustesky.
